Welcome to Sandhills Farm Life Elementary School! I am honored to serve as your Assistant Principal and to be a part of such a special school community. SFL is a true treasure steeped in tradition, values, and high academic expectations. It is my hope that when you walk through the doors of SFL, you are greeted with a warm smile and a joy that wraps around your heart. You are entrusting us with the most precious gift- your child. My goal is for every student to embrace learning and truly enjoy school as we build a strong foundation together during their elementary years. I am excited to get to know your family this year and to continue building strong relationships together in support of our students.
Sandhills Farm Life has a proud military presence, with more than 50% of our students connected to military families. As an active-duty Army wife, I walk this road alongside you and understand both the challenges and the strengths that come with military life. I am also a mom of four children—three currently attending Moore County Schools at the elementary, middle, and high school levels. My eldest is a proud Moore County Schools graduate and is now in his first year of college right here in North Carolina. Please know that I am always available and encourage you to reach out anytime if you need support, guidance, or simply a listening ear—we are in this together.
I am passionate about creating a joyful, encouraging, and high-expectation environment, partnering with families to help every student thrive. I am actively involved throughout our campus—starting the day with fun morning activities in classrooms, spending time in the cafeteria connecting with students about their day and interests, and supporting safe dismissal in the bus lot. I enjoy greeting students and families in the car rider line as they head off to their after-school adventures, celebrating each day together as a school community.
I am so excited that you and your family are a part of our Trojan Family. Thank you for entrusting us with your beloved student. This is not a responsibility I take lightly—your child is your most precious gift, and it is truly an honor to be a part of their lives.
Warmly,
Dr. Benedict
